VidInBio ("we," "us," or "our") operates the vidinbio.com and vidinb.io websites. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
Account Information: When you create a VidInBio page, we collect your chosen username and, optionally, a password. We do not require an email address to create a page.
YouTube Channel Data: When you connect a YouTube channel, we access publicly available information including your channel name, profile image, channel description, and video titles, thumbnails, and publish dates. This data is fetched via the YouTube RSS feed and YouTube's public APIs.
Social Links: Any social media links or custom URLs you add to your page are stored in our database.
Contact Information: If you contact us through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message.
Usage Data: We collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data, to understand how our service is used.
IP Addresses: We temporarily store IP addresses for rate limiting purposes (to prevent abuse of page creation and contact forms). These are not used for tracking or profiling.

Your VidInBio page and associated data are retained as long as your page is active. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Server logs and IP addresses used for rate limiting are retained for no longer than 30 days. You may request deletion of your page and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users as soon as practicable and no later than 72 hours after becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law.
